· Wine
For centuries, the vineyards shaped the heartbeat of the Fabiani estate, with its renowned wines reaching as far as Vienna.
After nearly a century-long hiatus, we are reviving the agricultural heritage of the estate, focusing primarily on producing the legendary indigenous wine Pikolit. This revival is made possible in collaboration with the Štoka winemaking family from Krajna Vas.
We have cleared overgrown farmland and planted 7,500 Pikolit vines on the estate’s excellent sunlit slopes. The first ceremonial harvest took place in 2015, marking the return of wine production after a 70-year pause.

Wine today
Today, the vines are cultivated on 10 hectares of land. The small yield per vine gives the wine its distinctive flavor. The harvest is a true celebration. Though the quantity is limited, each grape is handled with boutique care.
Great attention is paid to sorting and selecting grapes for drying, with the same meticulous care continuing in the cellar. From the finest grapes, we craft sweet Pikolit, while the rest are used to produce a dry version.
A unique highlight is Pikolit grappa, a spirit with a special aroma. In addition, we produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Malvasia, Rosé, and Teran.

Faladur
The historical significance of the Villa Fabiani estate is evident from an event in August 1917, when its wine cellar, Faladur, hosted distinguished figures of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
Among the visitors were Emperor Karl, Field Marshal and supreme commander of the Soška Fronta Svetozar Borojević, Count Attems, and other dignitaries, who toured the estate while inspecting the rear positions of the battlefield.
